Alas, I have been the victim of the backlash of this senseless atrocity in New York last week that has been labeled as a "Muslim" action without obtaining enough proof. Getting fired without a written notice is a shock but that was not enough, I was not allowed to leave in dignity; they had to get security to manhandle me and throw me out of a public area together with my belongings that had been brought down in a box without my knowledge.
I was grieving for the innocent lives that we lost but when I realized that even though the act of hatred was so far away, the atrocities carried out against me (to be surrounded by so many officers of the law and mistreated) came as an awakening to me. I was keeping a low profile since last week's tragedy but still couldn't escape this humiliation and it has hit me really hard.
The Pen is mightier than the Sword and so I finally decided to let my readers know what has happened.
By the way, there is a $25 million dollar reward for clues leading to the terrorists and as a software analyst, I cannot get over at so many disconnects offered to me by the media when I was glued to the TV in utter shock as to how all this could be orchestrated by a single person giving orders out of a mountainous hideout, who has supposedly been able to delude all the world's intelligence network. The synchronization, the sophistication of the operation, the passing through several security checkpoints, etc. can't have been organized by someone who "does not even use the cell phone lest he gets detected by the authorities and uses word of mouth and sprinters to get his mission accomplished." That's what the media would have us believe.
Surprisingly, all the footage of this horrible incident was captured by professional quality commerial video equipment from highrises in strategic places all pointed towards the Twin Towers. Coincidence? If there was some black and white security camera footage that runs 24 hours, I would have digested it more readily. So news media showed up right away, you would argue. Then how about the footage with the reporter supposedly interviewing someone whilst ANOTHER camera is strategically placed underneath aimed at not the single tower with the burning fire, but BOTH towers. Coincidence? Think again.
We were sent home an hour after the incident as we worked in the downtown highrise district and when I turned on the TV at home, is when I saw that the towers had collapsed. Within just moments however, which was incredulous, we were presented with footage of Palestinian children and women applauding the carnage! Hello? What about the time difference? It should have been around 9pm at night in the Middle East...
