Dear Nina:DUALITY OF FAITH: Europe uncritically accepted the duality
of spirit and matter probably from Manichean thought. It best thinkers
are realising this initial mistake today but its statesmen are indirectly
forcing the world to accept it as an unquestionable dogma. It is, then,
this mistaken separation of spiritual and temporal which has largely influenced
European religious and political thought and has resulted practically in
the total exclusion of Christianity from the life of European states. The
result is a set of mutually ill-adjusted states dominated by interests
not human but national. (2) In Islam the theologians too began to give
a bewildering variety of comments on Quranic texts and even Hadith or Traditions
of the Prophet were concocted, religious decrees,promulgated and FATWAS(judgements)
given to suit the whims and caprices of a particular Muslim ruler.Rumi
reminded Muslims: "YOU WERE SENT TO UNITE PEOPLE-YOU WERE NOT SENT TO DIVIDE
PEOPLE".

in them): (1) Belief in one God, Allah (Surah 23:116:117). (2)Belief in
angels (Surah 2:177). (3)Belief in many prophets but one message. Adam
was the first prophet.Others have included Abraham,Moses,Jesus, and "the
Seal of the Prophets,"Muhammad(Surah 4:136; 33:40) (4) Belief in a judgement
day(Surah 15:35, 36) (5) Belief in God's omniscience,prior knowing, and
determination of all events. Yet, man has freedom of choice in his actions.[Islamic

This is for Ignorant-Noel of Toronto I think this person has no knowledge
of Quran, who said that Ismaili's do not follow Quran. We follow and understand
better than any muslim. We do not read Quran in Arabic but we read it in
english I know so many Ismailis who do. Mr Noel of Toronto do you know
what Quran says regarding your opinion or any sunis who think in this way,
nobody has a right to judge anybody's religion and Quran is very clear
in this matter, Allah makes the judgement.

Ya Ali Madad: I refer to the comments made by my brother Noel of Toronto,
and respect them. All the human beings on this earth, pray to "Almighty"
(Allah, Lord, Bhagwan, Ishwer), whether he or she is a Hindu, Christian,
Muslim, etc., we all are Allah's children. Why have hatred for each other.
Allah would be more happy, if we Muslim brothers and sisters, whether we
are Shia or Sunni, be more united. I am sure in every religion it states
that one's prayers are not acceptable if one has hatred for each other.

Ismailism is an heretic and a blasphemic anti muslim sect. Everything
on them is different than the muslims and they do not believe in the quran.
In my opinion all the ismailis and the ghulats (shiites that say that Ali

to you the Book with the truth,confirming the scriptures which preceded
it: for He has already revealed the Torah and the Gospal for the guidance
of men, and the distinction between right and wrong." Surah 3:2.- "Almost
all historical narratives of the Quran have their bibical parallels...Among
the Old Testamnet characters, Adam,Noah,Abraham(mentioned about 70 times
in twenty-five different surahs and having his name as a title for surah
14), Ishmael,Lot,Joseph(to whom surah 12 is dedicated). Moses(whose name

Jonah(whose name surah 10 bears) figure prominently. The story of the creation

Dear Nina: SHORT GLIMPSES OF HOLY QURAN:The Holy Quran was revealed
to Muhammad by angel Gabriel.THE HADITH,or SUNNA,"the deeds,utterances
and silent approval (taqrir) of the Prophet...fixed during the second century(A.H.)
in the form of written hadiths. A HADITH, therefore, is a record of an
action or sayings of the Prophet."It can also be applied to the actions
or sayings of any Prophet's "Companians or their successors." In a HADITH,
only the meaning is viewd as inspired. THE SHARI'AH. or canon law based
on principles of the Quran regulates a Muslim's centre life in the rleigious,political,
and social senses. "All man's act are classified under five legal catagories:(1)
What is considered absolute duty(fard)[involving reward for acting or punishment
for failing to act];(2)Commandable or maritorious actions(mustahabb)[involving
a reward but no punishment for omissions];(3)permissible actions(ja'iz
mubah), which are legally indifferent;(4)reprehensible actions(makruh),
which are disapproved but not punishable;(5) forbidden actions(haram),
the doing of which calls punishment.

enjoyed and I never get tired in this web site. We are very fortunate that
we have access to tecnology and we are using it to sprad the information
around. The work and information provided in this Web site is exellent.
I wish our Jamat in Iran and other part of world who can not access this
site, one day they can log on to this site and read What Imam is doing

the Age reigns wupreme. HE ALONE has the authority to guide the spiritual
welfare of his followers. If you choose to remian an Ismaili, any other
stand would be incongruous and in direct conflict with the spiritual bond
which your oath of allegiance to your Imam enjoins upon you. Throughout
history Imamm of age has sought "advice" from his appointed officers in
matters which affect the welfare of his followers.

MIRADJ RAAT-Ascension of Prophet to heaven. In Kuran, Sura lxxxi, 19-25
and liii. 1-12, a vision is described in which a heavenly messanger appears
to Muhammad and Sura liii. 13-18 deals with a second vision of a similar
kind.In both cases the Prophet sees a heavenly figure approach him from
the distance. Sura xvii.I:"Praise him, who travelled in one night with
his servant from the Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aksa, whose surrounding
we blessed , in order to show him our signs".There are many other versions
of the incident.

meet one of earlier messangers of God:Adam in the first;Yahya and Issa

Musa in the sixth and Ibrahim in the seventh.

about Imam HAZARAT ALI; but space forbid it. HAZARAT ALI b. Abi Talib was
a cousin and the son-in-law of Muhammad and the fourth orthodox caliph.
His father was ABU TALIB son of Abd al-Muttalib b. Hashim; his mother was
called Fatima bint Asad b.Hashim. ALI received the surname Abu Turab from
Muhammad, whose daughter Fatima he married.ALI accompanies Muhammad in
battles of BADR,UHUD,al-KHANDAK, and nearly all expedition except that
of Tabuk, during which he had the command at MMADINA in the absence of
Muhammad .He himself conducted an expidition to FADAK. He received sixteen
wounds at UHUD. The Prophet sent him to Mina(630) to read in public several
verses from the ninth Sura(al-Bara'a) which had been revealed to him shortly
and to proclaim four decisions:Prohibition of polythesists from the pilgrimage;
to circumambulation of the Kaba which no one was to make unclothed; to
